How it works

From guesswork to a plan you can prove

Most organisations don't need more wellbeing activity. They need to know which activity matters, a plan to do it well, and a way to show it is working. That takes four steps, in a deliberate order.

  1. Optional

    Check

The free wellbeing strategy check scores your organisation in four areas: cure, prevention, monitoring and leadership culture. It gives us both a starting point.

  2. Step 1

    Talk

A 20-minute call about what is not working and whether a Clarity Day would help. If it wouldn't, I'll say so.

  3. Step 2

    Clarity Day

One remote day. We diagnose what is driving the problem, build a 90-day roadmap, and create a board-ready deck and a measurement framework. Everything is in your inbox by 5pm, and we follow up after 30 days.

    Duration1 day

    Cost£1,250 founding rate

  4. Step 3

    Embed (optional)

90 days of hands-on support putting the plan into practice: two manager workshops, snack rollout across teams, a communication toolkit and check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days.

    Duration90 days

Cost£2,500, or £2,150 if booked within 7 days of your Clarity Day

  5. Step 4

    Platform

Monthly anonymous pulse surveys, trends, alerts and a one-page report on the 1st of each month, so you can show the board what is changing. The first 60 days are included with your Clarity Day.

    DurationOngoing

CostFrom £350 a month after 60 days, billed annually

Most organisations start with the Clarity Day. Embed and the platform are there if you want them, not a condition of the first step.

The thinking behind it

Strategy before spend

Diagnose first

We start with the problem you are trying to solve, not a catalogue of initiatives. The diagnosis tells us what deserves attention and why.

Measure from the start

Every recommendation has a line to an outcome, so you can explain what is changing and whether the investment is working.

Built for the next 90 days

You don't need a 12-month transformation programme to make progress. You need a plan that managers can start using on Monday.

Capability, not dependency

The work is designed to leave you stronger. Practical tools, clear ownership, and the confidence to run it yourself.

Most organisations land in one of three places

None of them is designed for the practical middle ground: a strategy rigorous enough for leadership and realistic enough for the people who have to deliver it.

Do it yourself

HR gets another impossible brief. The EAP is renewed, a webinar is organised, and nobody has the time to connect any of it to the numbers that matter.

Buy an app

Access gets mistaken for adoption. A licence is not a workplace strategy.

Go enterprise

For a mid-sized business, a six-figure budget and a long rollout often solve a different problem from the one you have.

Is it right for you?

Probably, if

  • You are an HR director or people lead at an organisation of 50 to 500 people
  • You have wellbeing activity in place, but no strategy connecting it to outcomes
  • You need something you can defend in a board meeting
  • You want existing tools and activity to work harder, not more of them

Probably not, if

  • You want a one-off wellbeing event with no follow-through
  • You need a clinical risk assessment for a large workforce
  • You want someone to tell you everything is fine and another app will fix it
  • You have fewer than 50 people. Well Enough Life has free tools that may suit you better.

Not sure whether you fit? The wellbeing strategy check takes three minutes and gives you an honest score in four areas. If the result says you're in good shape, you'll hear the same from me. Take the check

Questions

Do I have to do every step?

No. Most organisations start with a Clarity Day. Embed and the platform are optional, and you decide after you have seen the plan.

Can I start with the platform on its own?

The platform is designed to measure a strategy, so it starts after a Clarity Day. Without one, it is a dashboard with nothing to measure against.

How long before we see a difference?

You will have a plan by 5pm on the day. Your first monthly report arrives on the 1st of the following month, and the early trend is usually visible by the 30-day call.

What does it cost in total?

The Clarity Day is £1,250 at the founding rate. Embed is £2,500, or £2,150 if booked within 7 days. The platform starts at £350 a month after the first 60 days, depending on headcount. See pricing for the detail.

What about ongoing support after 90 days?

Some organisations want experienced wellbeing leadership on a retainer. That is a Fractional Chief Wellbeing Officer arrangement, agreed individually.
