About Wellbeing Solved

Wellbeing Solved was founded with a single premise: most organisations have wellbeing things, but very few have a wellbeing strategy. The difference matters enormously, and it is why most wellbeing initiatives fail to deliver measurable outcomes.

About the Founder: David Oswald

David Oswald is the founder of Wellbeing Solved. He brings over 20 years of experience in instructional design and learning and development, having worked with organisations across the UK to improve how people learn, grow, and perform at work.

His central insight came from watching thousands of well-designed training and development programmes fall flat — not because the content was wrong, but because the people receiving it were too stressed, too tired, and too overwhelmed to absorb or act on it.

Stressed people cannot learn. They cannot collaborate effectively. They cannot think creatively, make good decisions, or sustain high performance. Every investment an organisation makes in its people — leadership development, skills training, culture programmes — depends on employees being in a state where learning is possible.

Wellbeing Solved addresses the foundation.

The Philosophy: Capability, Not Dependency

Many wellbeing providers build programmes that create dependency on the provider. Employees come to rely on the next workshop, the next initiative, the next intervention. When the budget is cut or the supplier changes, the gains evaporate.

Wellbeing Solved's approach is different. The platform gives employees the tools, knowledge, and habits to manage their own wellbeing independently — without needing a new programme every quarter. It gives HR teams the data, the process, and the structure to run a wellbeing function without constant manual effort.

The goal is to leave every organisation in a genuinely better position than when it started — with internal capability that persists long after any external support ends.

The Evidence Base

Everything in the Wellbeing Solved platform is grounded in peer-reviewed research. The content draws on neuroscience, positive psychology, occupational health, and behavioural science. The ROI calculations use published data from CIPD, Deloitte, ACAS, and the UK Government's Thriving at Work review.

This is not motivational content dressed up as science. It is evidence-based practice applied rigorously to the workplace context.
